Pet Bed ~ Christmas Project ~ Repurposed Drawer

First of all Happy Thanksgiving! I had a little time in between cooking so I thought I'd add a little project for all of  you pet owners out there.  This project was super simple!  I've taken a wooden drawer from a broken down dresser and repurposed it into a pet bed.  I completed this project a couple of years ago so I don't have the step by step pictures so I'll number them instead.

JUNK Lamp Parts + Imagination = Jewelry Display

This is me at an Estate Sale...I get out of my SUV and head straight to the garage, barn, shed or backyard while everyone else is running inside trying to find the antique rare glass and fine art!  That's not to say that I don't end up there looking for random pieces of old jewelry, etc.

Rusty Trash to Painted Treasure ~ SIGN

I love this sign!

Rusty Goodness Drought Tolerant Planting

Well, let me say that if I had lived closer to this sale I would have owned all of this rusty perfection. I only ended up with 5 of these rusty kettles at $1 each and I love them.  I bought them because I love rust and could envision them filled with succulents.  I finally got around to making one today and this is what I did from start to finish.

Wedding Themed Signs and More!

These signs and hand stamped cake forks were created for my best friend's daughter's wedding.

Signs, Signs and More Signs!

These signs were made from repurposed old fencing and building materials. They've been base coated, sanded, given a topcoat and handpainted then distressed. Some of these were made for the daughter of a friend.
